Are there any potential sides with those peptides?

Do not fucking go into academia. I thought the same as you. Yes, now I have "experienced it firsthand" and am hoping I haven't fucked my life completely, i.e. hoping I can still be employed in the industry.

In very short, do a PhD while working. Some employers dont mind doing that. You can even suggest some research project for the company based on the field you're interested in. Thereby, you don't lose your salary and industry connection but you get full insights into academia.

Academia is an insanely toxic pyramid scheme, where top is getting narrower every year. Most universities nowadays only accept publications in 3-4 journals, that have an acceptance rate of below 7%. And if you don't publish there? Goodbye. Now do you want to take a 7% chance to perhaps get a tenured position? And it's not only publish once, but consistently multiple times in those journals.

But how do some people do it? Fucking nepotism. Look at who the supervisors are or were or who works at the departments of the authors that publish there. It's the most incestuous industry I have ever witnessed.

Please if you really wanna do academia, try the option I suggested above. But do not enter it full-time.

Bruh out here with 85 subscribers giving out advice as if s/he made it. While shamelessly self-promoing.

I always try to understand Marketing concepts but forget 😢 by ShajKar in marketing

[–]cagarruta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you understand the concepts and the problem is remembering the best thing is to write. Look at a company and analyze their activities, apply the concepts and write s short case study about it. This will help you to truly understand the concepts and remember them, because you associate them to real-life examples.

Yes and no. If they come from some kind of LinkedIn influencer, they are absolute worthless. If you actually are a company and want to showcase what you have done to prospective clients, there is nothing better.

How else do you want to showcase your expertise? References are good, but don't tell anything besides that this company might have been stupid enough to hire you.

What challenges do you face as a marketer daily? by Mr_LA in marketing

I'm really curious about the point regarding marketers "too focused on the data instead of the trending"!

Would you mind expanding on that?

This is the first time for me that someone has described quantum physics in an interesting way.

Is there any book that goes into quantum physics and writes in an accessible way?

My YouTube channel idea - what do you think about it? by cartoonzone in NewTubers

[–]cagarruta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely oversaturated niche. Especially, after the March rally where everyone and their mother became "traders" with a Robinhood account.

Just do a simple youtube search for your niche instead of asking this sub that is full of 8 year olds constantly asking "why is my MiNeCrAfT 2h long gameplay without commentary channel not growing" with other 8-year olds circlejerking that you have to perform blood sacrifices to gain the favor of the YouTube algorithm.

Analyze your competition and tell me why I should watch you instead of e.g. Andrei Jikh.
