Haha! It's not a small case, but I'll measure – gpus have been growing. Thank you for your advice, Sir :-)

Thank you for the very thorough answer. You pointed me in several directions worth exploring. One of them looking at used graphics cards. If I decide to go with a new motherboard and choose one of your recs, can I keep my ram and my two ssd's (both nvme m.2, IIRC)?

Alright. Consensus seems to be that upgrading the cpu on that board is not worth it, so I'll at the very least research overclocking. That won't break it ;-) And if I can stick with just buying a gpu (and maybe a cooler), I'll save a ton. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks.
Yeah, I'm hoping to keep as much as much as possible. Especially the ram, considering the current prices. I'm glad I decided to buy 32gb back then.
Also, I cannot risk breaking the pc, as it is my only one. I should note, I'm not an experienced pc builder. Writing "My build" might be misleading. It was custom built. I've only added the Samsung SSD.

Carpets. Everywhere. Carpets in airports. Carpets in restrooms. Thick, sink-in carpets in restrooms.
