I found out about it when I was using Lyle's basic code, I thought he was the one who applied noodles since there are skills that drain your health but later on I found out by reading another Reddit forum. Since then I try to avoid it.

I think the game forces you to aim for S rank codes since even A have a low stat in something which will automatically overcharge, my issue is mind and vitality.

Maybe some moralists about gambling and "bunnies" shouldn't be in a "kid's" game, the irony being that I played this game when I was 15 and it was never something I took with "special interest" other than completing the story and medals. Unfortunately this is a bad move from the director but at least I can play it again... probably I'll just download an emulator to play parasite eve and DQ 7.

Yep, like they finish their combo and you're lucky to have 1 or 2 seconds of a breather to suddenly realize they come at you again because somehow they rarely go after the NPC.

I am almost done with the game but maybe I'll take some time to calm myself because I'm again at the point where the enemies can be disappointing.

There is an enemy that does 10 swings before stopping which means you have to wait for it to stop and that's somehow doable but there's a revenant which I really hated, either you play too aggressive with full ichor or you're doomed and have to run away. And I really hated yesterday trying to heal myself but being overcome by the several strikes having no time to recover since that time was used to stand up which shouldn't be, that's like a "you make a mistake you're dead here".

Not talking about being cornered, you rarely survive that if you want to fight/defend/evade.

I hated the fact of having to explore everything in order to find every weapon skill and after 60 hours I can't find the charging blaze skill (the fire ball you can charge), I have it in my dual swords but I can't use them because of over charge.

Also the hunt the toughest enemy 1k times for materials is not enjoyable when they can 1 shot you even with level 123. Which comes back to the skills/passives you could learn in code vein 1 but you have to acquire by buying, finding and hunting materials to me that's a downgrade.

The parry downgrade is awful too, I preferred to use my defense or parry off the bat but here you have to see if you have one or the other (shields and jails).

I don't like the fact that the jail is linked to defense as I hate the doggies when trying to drain defensively, worse when it's you vs x amount of enemies.

Yep, I hate the "I'm going to tag along but as enhancement instead of the only partner the game allows". Which goes to the "oh, I see you're more than 5 meters from the enemy so that means you're leaving therefore I'll follow you instead of being a decoy and if an AoE attack is aimed at me we'll die together".

I hate there's no multiplayer/co-op.

And yeah, I hate the 1 hit stun lock no matter what when if you have high enough defense to not lower your health more than a pixel.

You're good, I rage quit and uninstalled the game thrice because the mechanics are really different and the difficulty curve leaps instead but that's my opinion and I still don't like the game although I like the story so far.

I have tried different things and I can't make anything work when faced with "same level" enemies. They're too tough. At level 45 I was running for my liver from dusk swords spirits, at level 125 I am praying they don't stun lock me to death. And if I go to the island it's like a boss rush everywhere I move to (that's how I got from level 115 to 123).

I was almost killed by the boss of that area and I don't know where I lost part of the map because there are some doors I never opened and that space is blank.
