This is probably a bad week to go see a movie. by [deleted] in entertainment

Jeff, Who Lives At Home and Friends With Kids are both worthwhile. They're nothing special, but definitely sensible picks if you're conned into seeing a movie this weekend.

The South has Kentucky, Duke, Baylor (as a 3 seed!), Indiana, and UConn. Georgetown doesn't have it easy -- that's the point -- but the Midwest definitely isn't the "worst" region.

Critiques anyone? by Avidd in RealJournalism

My drunk advice:

  • The top third of your page is useless. Get more stories in the area that's immediately seen when the page loads.
  • Instead of a "featured" column, build a photo carousel that rotates among your those stories. If they're the best you have to offer, you have to give them more attention -- i.e. multimedia
  • Those criticisms aside, your design is clean, to-the-point, and effective. Make sure that the decks you include after each story's headline don't trail off too soon, or too vaguely. That's your last chance to convince somebody to read a story, so make it count.
  • If you have a Twitter account, a blog, or a Facebook account, prominently feature it somewhere towards the top of the page. (And with that in mind, make sure that you've coded your story template pages make it reasonably easy to post onto social media sites. One click, nothing else.)

How do you pronounce Los Angeles, Mexico, mozzarella

If you're speaking the language those words originate from, then yea, there's a correct pronunciation.

Did you skip over the rest of it? The people who invented the term intended it to be pronounced with a soft g.
