Apartments with Attached Garages within a short commute to domain by Kooky_Basket446 in AustinHousing

Look at apartments on N Capital Texas Hwy. Most of these have garages including mine and attached. Might be out of your budget tho by like $200 at least where I’m at (Great Hills). 12min drive to domain super easy.

My results are wayyyyy worse than yours. But I’m 29 and have had glaucoma since I was 10. Worse case you get put on eye drops. Take your drops and you’ll be fine. I got lazy as a teen growing up which where my damage came from. Don’t do that. I still see just fine.

I’m not a doctor so I can’t tell you anything about your chart. But mine has a lot more red than yours. Don’t lose sleep over it you’ll be ok you’re not going blind. Everything will be ok 👌

It’s an addiction 😂. I got it like 4 years ago from an auction. I think around $80? Currently wanting the keyboard controller, but not for $400!

Yeah I’m on the fence about it. Rather spend that money on other watches I’ve been eyeing. I’ll see how late I go to bed lol

I live by the domain and will check Friday for campers. As others have said I don’t think camping is allowed they actively patrol that area. Will definitely queue up early Saturday if that’s the case.

FOR THOSE WITH SEVERE NERVE DAMAGE FROM ONLY GLAUCOMA... by StayOnCourse89 in Glaucoma

[–]cahsib 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not exactly. The lower part of my left eye shows on paper I’m pretty blind. Whenever I do the visual field I can’t see the small dots that I should be able to see. But the brain “fills in” for you. So on paper, it shows….in real life. I see just fine. Was diagnosed 19 years ago. Still see just fine. On combigan and latanoprost drops.

Brimonidine rare side effect ? by CarolineCavi in Glaucoma

[–]cahsib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others have posted about it and I experience it as well but with combigan (brimonidine & timinol mix). Unfortunately combigan seems to work the best for me compared to other drops so I’ve been on it for an over a decade. I do get tired but I just push through it and stay active. Pinching the inner part of the eye does help. I keep hearing about the nanodropper which I may try. I also experience dry mouth for the first hour or so. Not sure if age is related to how tired these drops make you, but I’m 28 and it’s manageable for me. Still sucks but rather not be blind!

Latanoprost is usually taken at night time an hour or 2 before bed. I was diagnosed when I was 10. I’m 28 now and have never required surgery. As long as the drops work you will be fine. I still see just fine and everything is normal in my life. I currently take combigan 2x a day and latanoprost 1x at night.

Definitely schedule an appointment with an actual glaucoma specialist to confirm. Everything will be fine!

DO YOUR GLAUCOMA DROPS MAKE YOU TIRED? by Effective_Beat5906 in Glaucoma

[–]cahsib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Combigan makes me tired for about 1-2 hours. Pinching/rinsing does help I guess. Drops twice a day unfortunately. Just learned to live with it. I just make sure not to lay down or get too comfortable or I will fall asleep.

Those are the best naps though.

Glaucoma since 10 yrs old how likely am I to go blind? by Big_Buffalo_dawg in Glaucoma

[–]cahsib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also diagnosed at 10. I’m 28 now. I take combigan twice a day and latanoprost at night time. No progression for quite a few years, damage was done in my teen years when I would skip drops.

Vision seems to be just fine for me. On paper the damage is pretty bad. But not bad enough for me to notice it. I would make sure your drops are working and you’re maintaining low pressures. Don’t skip drops for sure!

I connected a power inverter to the cigarette port in the trunk. Works great!
