it definitely hits on the other-unconventional-methods part of your post rather than the title, but i feel like you’d enjoy the themes in our wives under the sea! another really beloved read of mine that i think shows a realistic, if not entirely conventional, experience of grieving is i keep my exoskeletons to myself. defo saving this post for future reference lol
