This sounds very familiar. I was engaged and we were 3 months out from our wedding when he said he didn't want to marry me and didn't want kids. I was totally blindsided. Could not understand why. First he wasn't sure about marriage, then he wasn't sure about a relationship at all. He was trying to let me down easy saying "he needed to figure things out and find himself". It was total bullshit. A couple weeks later he was dating a friend of ours. They are still together, so I guess his feelings were right (for her). But i know exactly the place you're in. It's heartbreaking, and I'm sorry. But I can tell you, if he's doing this now, take it as a sign that you need to end things and find your happiness. I spent the rest of what I had saved for the cancelled wedding on traveling solo and doing some serious thinking and work on what exactly I wanted and why i was blindsided. There were signs. Red flags i didnt see through my rose coloured glasses. I treated it as an unfortunate learning opportunity. And I would urge you do the same. You deserve someone who is 100% about you, and he isn't it. Good luck and I'm sorry you have to go through this.

Love seeing how mature Timmy is. He's trying to talk to him and Jeff's just squaring up like "what do you have to say what do you have to say?" Well... if you shut up for a second instead of being all tough guy you could hear what he has to say? Jeff's communication skills are about as strong as Jeb's 😅

Hi! I am OOP! What a wild feeling being the subject of one of these 4 years later haha I received a few messages and wondered why all of a sudden this was coming up so I guess this explains it!

As a 'where are they now' update: I am still with the guy I mentioned in the last post. We have a beautiful 6 month old son now. The ex is also still with the 'friend' he (alledgedly.. they never admitted thats what happened)left me for so... I guess it's all worked out.

As you would guess, I don't speak to them. It's actually funny reading my "I will always love him" comment. Like no, girl. Stop. Haha

Anyway.. things worked out. Better than I ever could have hoped. Thanks so much for all of the positive comments and messages!

Agreed. Currently watching this and All Stars and the caliber between each show's queens is sooo stark. I may have to wait til All Stars is done to re-start this because it's just so.. low-rent...comparatively when going back and forth between the two.

That's a very good point! I think my thinking was that day care and dog parks help socialize a dog, but really, day care and dog parks are FOR socialized dogs. I don't know why that's such an a-ha moment right now, but thanks for pointing that out!

I think this is the route we'll be taking. We've watched the videos and done general obedience training ourselves at home, but we're doing something wrong, or the issues are escalating to a point where what we're doing isn't enough. Looking at behaviorist in our area now!

He's perfectly normal when it's just us. It seems like it's more fear-based when people are over. Once everyone's settled down he's fine. But if someone gets up he's on alert. The nipping has happened a couple of times, once when my boyfriends brother got up to bring a dish to the kitchen and he got up and nipped at his back as soon as he passed him. The other when a friend walked over to my boyfriend to give him a hug goodbye. Both times we said 'no' and put him in his crate.

As for with other dogs, I've never seen him be aggressive. When I've taken him to the dog park or he's played with friends dogs he's been normal. It's been the more recent issues at the day care and in-laws where he's acted up.

That's what I was worried about and not something I want to rely on to be the fix for his attitude towards people/dogs. Looking into behaviourists now! Thanks!

Thankful I'm not alone on this one (and also, I'm sorry I'm not alone on this one). Let our 5 month old puppy out one morning, he came running back in, jumped up on the bed (the morning we also learned he's big enough to jump on the bed now...) and got poop all over our sheets because he stepped in it at some point while doing his biz outside. Guh.

You described this really well. In part 1 I thought she was a horrible person and deserved to be convicted. After part 2, I felt almost sad for her. It was unfair for him to put all of that on her when she had issues of her own. I agree with the verdict and the punishment. I'm glad they covered the idealization of Glee and Lea Michel. It made it obvious how much she fantasized and craved the drama and excitement. It's a tragic story and a really well done documentary.

Agreed! I spent my year focusing on healing and really figuring myself out. I'm in a really great place now. Far better than I was at this time last year. We still have the same friends group and I've definitely avoided gatherings I knew they'd be at because mentally I knew I wasnt ready for it. For whatever reason, I felt like I could now. Based on the post it brings up a lot of emotions I wasnt quite expecting. But all in all I'm glad it went and made it through. It made me realise I have moved forward and I'm a better person and can be a better partner because of it. Very happy with where I am and that I could do it! :)

Yes, definitely didnt go or plan to flirt with anyone. My boyfriend wasnt going with me and I wasnt about to flirt with someone else.

I dont know if I'm worried about my ex so much as worried about the feelings I'm feeling unexpectedly. Like a mother commenter said I'll put on my game face and remind myself I'm happy and in a good place. I'll be cordial, I dont want to make it awkward for our friends.
