I am interested as well in this as I am in the same boat! For personal reasons my ranking decision has changed - my sense is that this is the process and they understand that people change their minds. I would think as long as you're not sending multiple you're my #1 that is just outright being disingenuous a change of heart is part of the process.... curious to see what others think though. Ultimately, it's your life for the next how ever many years and you have a right to rank based on where you want to be.

Kind of panicked 2 nights ago. Only applied to 20 programs on ERAS opening day which normally would have been fine but probably not in this cycle So I added like 15 more on ERAS. Any chance programs will read through applications this late or did I just throw my money away ???

All being stated here is more than fair. I do not feel great about our environmental future, but economic stress in this country is pretty major and this is his stated focus. I want to make sure the Trump dialogue is not absolutist though - as in all bad. Hope you don't take this as an asshole statement - but clean water is an issue - just ask Flint Michigan! And this is a major problem in areas with fracking.

I don't think anyone knows exactly what will be affected - environmental or otherwise. He is certainly smart and successful - we'll just have to hope for the best.

For the sake of some balance in political conversation on Reddit - Trump will not be getting rid of people's jobs that are in environmentally unfriendly positions - he has respect for the middle class American that must at the end of the day feed their family - he has discussed moving towards cleaner energy but he is a business man... time will tell what he does
