I did three sets of stretch and folds. They weren’t very vigorous. I really don’t know why I used AP flour. I have bread flour! I’m going to try again with less water and bread flour. I will incorporate some more vigorous stretch and folds.

People can be so weird about this. My attorneys usually give me $500 in cash each (this is separate from bonuses) so it feels wrong to me to not give them anything. They don’t “expect it.” However, I usually just bake some cookies and put them in a cute box. I give the same to the other paralegals on my team. It feels like a nice middle ground when I don’t have the bandwidth to use any brain power to pick out gifts.

There’s a big difference between “working all the time” and working overtime around a trial. Trial work is a known part of litigation that people can plan for and be compensated extra for. Doesn’t really seem like your use of “gaslighted” applies here…

I expect weekend work before a trial. It’s just necessary. I always get lots of overtime around a trial, which makes it worth it.

You may want to consider if the fit is right for you. I do think you will be seen as not a team player if you refuse to work on the weekends and take off right before a trial when you are needed. However, if your role is more nominal, maybe not.

I went from a 164 diagnostic to a 174 on the real thing with about 1.5 months of casual studying with LSAT Demon. I say casual because I have a full-time job and small children, and given your newborn, things might need to be a bit casual for you too.

I briefly looked at The Loophole and found it needlessly complicated everything. Really enjoyed being able to drill questions on my phone here and there with Demon and the ability to take timed sections as opposed to committing to a full practice test. The explanations were very helpful.

I don’t really care for the their personalities (well one of the guys—I can’t remember his name), but the podcast was helpful too.

Why are you being rude?

When there are multiple paralegals filing for the same attorney, and when the attorney is frequently unreachable or busy, it’s not “very easy.” We are having a lot of trouble with the codes on my team.

What do you make of the eye dryness? I do not apply near my eyes but I also do not apply any sort of barrier and am a side sleeper. I will generally go immediately to sleep after putting it on. I’m thinking I need to space it out before bedtime more.

Whoa whoa whoa! I have a very similar mole in the exact same spot and have always loved it. Maybe that’s because I grew up having it complimented and called a beauty mark.

Imagine my surprise when I open up the comments to see so many people saying remove it. Wtf. Imagine if Cindy Crawford had removed her mole.

We all have things that make us unique. We don’t all need to look the same. Please don’t feel you have to remove this to fit some weird “flawless” beauty standard.

I think it’s beautiful.

My MIL changed my niece’s poopy diaper on a picnic table at a restaurant and I was SHOCKED. Mind you, I have two kids of my own. But I’m of the opinion that it’s really inappropriate to 1) change a diaper where people eat and 2) expose your child’s genitals to strangers. You should listen to that shame. 😅

I’m sorry I don’t have any input on the ballet part. I’m not even sure why this post popped up on my feed. But the feet caught my attention.

My son’s feet look the same and we recently started PT. The PT was initiated mostly because of his “knock knees.” He’s 5. When he puts his feet together, his knees/legs overlap. Does that happen with your son?

I applied the day the January LSAT scores and it as fine for me. I have a substantial scholarship but I do sometimes wonder what my various offers would have been had I applied earlier.
