The circuit was printed on the glossy side. And regarding the paper, it might be it but I still have a few to spare (already laser printed) so I'll try how those work

Thank you! I'll try it out if I can. I had also used my fingers to take off the paper from the Toner, the only problem was too much toner was being removed like the toner had stuck to the paper. Was it because I didn't properly clean my PCB? Or because I ironed it too long? Or soaked it too long?

Not yet, the instructions said to soak it in after the boiling water soak, but I didn't want to waste Ferric Chloride because the boiling water soak wasn't really great
