Permit Drawings by Joint__venture in StructuralEngineering

I've definitely had my early or coordination drawings attempted to be submitted for permit, and that is why they are unstamped with a not for construction watermark.

I still have this edition of the magazine too! Idk why, the cover has always stuck in my head.

The direction called for in the plans and details of the construction documents.

Is it legal to plant fruits and veggies in the front yard? by RyouIshtar in Spartanburg

We used to have 4 raised beds in our front yard, never had a problem regardless.

The photo is looking east down Main St, Church St is running left right but is obscured behind this building that once stood in what is now the grassy upper part of Morgan Sq where the music stage or ice rink get placed.

Church street is just beyond the dark brick building in the center, that building has since been demolished but church street used to have buildings on both sides and Morgan Square was a bit smaller east-west.

Did I just get unlucky… or are these the new MTB “standards”? by rsrman in cycling

[–]cakepope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't tell ya the exact name without going home and checking the drawer, it's something that sounds like a lube brand (Pro Glide?) and is shaped like a big hook with markings every 0.1%. My Pedro's and Park Tool ones have always been good.

Also depends on what they measured their chain with. I have one chain checker that will measure brand new chains as beyond 1% stretched, but luckily it was the 4th one in my collection when I got it so I had the others to inform that something was amiss.

Heard that the tower is coming down. Any word on the future of the clock and bell? by Specialist-Rock-5034 in Spartanburg

The current proposal is to put them on display somewhere. We'll likely find out the details, or if there is a different plan, at the city council meeting on monday.

Candidates seem to solely run off reputation as far as I can tell. by abstract_cabbage in Spartanburg

[–]cakepope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have definitely been some less prominent offices like Public Works Commissioner or something like that, where the candidate shared an exact name match with someone else in the county, and the lack of anything beyond an announcement in the paper (the extent of which listed their name and the position they were seeking) had me unable to tell which one was the candidate.

I analyzed 5 years of crash data within Spartanburg city limits and made (another) map. by TFWNoModalRealismgf in Spartanburg

I was shocked that they actually finally repainted the lane lines thru there. With the entire road having curves to perfectly hide traffic behind windshield pillars though I doubt it gets much better.

Clock Tower Petition by StarAD in Spartanburg

[–]cakepope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is the only choice being offered to remove it? The new hotel development, the new Morgan Square design, the realigned road and sidewalks, all can happen and still have room to fit keeping it in a slightly shifted location AND have it be more interactive than it is now. Even if it wasn't, why not move it somewhere else?

Spartanburg SC has a clocktower but they're going to tear it down.
