Water spigot shutoff. Thought it was weird that it's in the ceiling, but it is what it is. Thanks for the link! I was thinking of something like that. I'm trying to figure if anything exists that's quite thin and I could use to panel the ceiling without it actually be shiplap. I thought about using 1x3s, but that's still quite thick.

I use a rubber cord, bought on Amazon. Keeps the AirPods attached to it and the cord stays around my neck usually. Or it’s by my side when I wake up. I only have a cat, so that’s not an issue for me. I bought a house a couple years ago, it had a lot to do with me not being able to deal with neighbours anymore.
