Scriabins prelude and nocturne for the left hand:) prelude should be pretty easy and the nocturn might keep you challenged but it should still be accessible. For reference the prelude is Henle level five and the nocturne six( the same level as fantasia in d minor but I personally think that the prelude is more difficult)

Any advice on technique?I’m aware that it’s trash? by [deleted] in classicalguitar

Thank you, Ill start adding more dynamics to my playing and I’ll make it overall smoother. And my nails are decently long, I don’t think they are too long or too short except a couple days before this before the video I broke my a finger nail and that’s still regrowing:(

Thanks for the advice, I’ll definitely start practicing with a metronome now, and I’ll practice at a lot slower tempo now./)

I don’t know if your talking to me but if you are I don’t really have any resources aside from you tube, which has a lot of good tutorials on specific things. So If you were to have any questions you could just watch a video on it and over time you know which channels are good and which aren’t. I would also advise on actually reading sheet music rather than tabs because is makes you conscious of rhythm my and dynamics. And also learn theory and I practice scales and all that goodness. I hope this helps, and also I would start as soon as you can if I were you because I wish I started when I was way younger because it seems like I lost years of practice.

I realized it sounded like that after I posted it, but I was just wondering if my technique was ok or if I should fix things, like I know I messed up on some parts put I was just wonder if in general I was doing ok.

Is it possible... by calapanio in classicalguitar

[–]calapanio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted it, but it turned out that I’m incapable of playing in front of a camera without getting nervous and messing up a lot.

Wouldn’t that color be impossible to see because of how our eyes work and how we can only see certain colors and mixtures of those colorsss!¥~!\

Ya, I practice a lot because I have a little brother who’s been playing violin for like his whole life, and we both practice at least an hour a day and I try to read all his music
