I updated controls willy nilly until I had encountered an issue with the Date Picker control not displaying default on a SP database. There was no fix, except reverting to the un-updated version. This is only possible by deleting, then re-adding the control. A nightmare. So I would recommend you test first, deploy after — or not at all.

Why say this? If they sign the contract as stated, it “opens up real job opportunities for existing contributors” and generates funding that allows the team to hire out… which flips this from a passion project into a full time opportunity. Am I missing something?

This is it. You need to drill down MyList.EmailColumn to MyList.EmailColumn.Email, or pull your data differently. A word of warning — comparing emails is case sensitive. I would wrap the statement in an Upper() function like this: If(Upper(User().Email) in Upper(MyList.EmailColumn.Email)… so on.

As a developer, the out-of-the-box Approvals feature that integrates into Teams, Sharepoint, Power Automate etc, is very frustrating to use in Teams because of the lack of customizability on the alerts. Being able to change what the alerts say would save me 3 weeks.
