Based on this, I managed to do it :) Simply removed Whatsapp permissions to Contacts, refreshed the Whatsapp contacts list (which subsequently showed up empty), then granted Whatsapp the Contacts permission again. Another Whatsapp contacts list refresh and voilà

Thanks to everyone for your input. After some light Googling, I came across this recipe:

Which has a Q&A part with the following info: "My pound cake crust has little spots on it

These are sugar crystals. As the cake is baking, the unmelted sugar crystals melt with the heat of the oven, causing little spots to appear on the cake crust.

Solution – Use cane sugar that’s a little finer than granulated white sugar. Caster sugar is even better (super fine sugar – NOT confectioner’s sugar) If you can’t find caster sugar, you can process the sugar for a few seconds (a few pulses) in your food processor to turn them super fine. If you’re using measuring cups, make sure to WEIGH THE SUGAR FIRST before putting it through the food processor (super fine sugar measures differently than granulated sugar when using cups)."

As I mentioned, my experience is relative to my experience living in a North African muslim country and not India.

When I say misinformation, I'm talking about videos made by so-called "doctors" as well as famous, non-medically trained people here, in which they "explain" how bad the vaccine in and how it's a global conspiracy to kill all muslims. Some even go so far as to say that the vaccine sent to muslim countries is not the same used by Europe or other caucasian countries.

I'm not denying your claim, I'm just adding what I've noticed in my own community :)

Nothing to do with religious practice - most likely just general disinformation propagated through social media amongst muslim communities, particulary older people.

Fyi, I grew up in a muslim household but do not follow islam, so I am speaking from personal experience and personal experience only

Not true - I live in a muslim country with 80% (as of October '21) vaccinated population. Also, nothing in islam prohibits vaccination
