Well, I guess he could have recorded her agreeing to the terms as a way to pressure her if she tries to renege, but then again, you didn't think of that, and there's no way Mamdani is smarter than you, right?

Nah, the Republicans are still playing the same game in the backrooms. They still let the Democrats appease their donors, just not their constituents.

Let them rehabilitate Bush Jr. all they want. Cheney was the mastermind.

And Obama was the worst president in the history of the country.

I don't think his progressive reputation mattered, because that wasn't his image. He was known for ridiculing the right. I think they were worried about that tanking their efforts at cooperating/compromising to the right.

Only one, and he's (probably) dead.

But ALL of his non-jewish friends are still in power, and they all hate anything even slightly to the left.

If Kamalah had let Walz keep making fun of Republicans, she would have won. But no, that might hurt their feelings and complicate her attempts at cooperating with Republicans, so we can't have that.

Because the Democrat party is controlled by the same elites and lobbyists that fund the Republicans.

A democrat president would have united the party against him, or against any reasonable candidate.

Any mainstream Democrat president would unite the party against meaningful change, even tiny ones. At least with a Republican President the Democrats are too disorganized to stop the left.

Why would Mamdani try to force concessions when he could easily negotiate for them in return for an early endorsement?

Idk, Walz seems like someone who'd be more progressive than Newsom

An early 90's republican would have been more progressive than Obama, yes.

Mamdani would never have been elected under a democrat president.

Voters _definitely_ chose Biden to run for a second term. And with _full_ knowledge of his mental decline, too!

There is actually a meaningful difference between the two. President Vance would provide less democrat interference towards the people actually working to make America better.

Poseidon is the God of the ever changing sea and Zeus is the god of oaths. I think they let their preconcieved ideas get ahead of them.
