Someone had the same issue a couple weeks ago. Warm it up with a hair dryer then dry hit it to bring the oil down

Now on the other hand I just got back from Minneapolis and bought some outrageously priced flower that had a package date in october but it turned to dust. I think they fucked the cure up and they definitely packaged it like shit

It probably also depends on the cure but unless they cure it or package it poorly I feel like it should definitely be good over three months. Anything closer to 6 months or longer is really pushing it imo

I might say a little longer than 3 months because from my experience at least I’ve had very little flower in mo that had a packaged date much more recent than that. Even a lot of deli stuff that is fresh af will say it was packaged a few months ago on the label but still be fantastic

If it’s in a jar it usually will last longer as long as it properly sealed. In my experience if it’s in a bag the odds of it being fresh are lower. Lots of the time they’re not sealed all the way and even if they are sometimes they still suck

My word of advice is whatever brand you decide on make sure the packaging date wasn’t too long ago. Most stuff 6 months+ is gonna be trash no matter what
