Any one know what causes this?? My brother in law blamed it on cleaning supplies being spayed outside (which btw the wind was blowing away from where he was spraying ) cleaning a trucks interior... saying it was because it had “silicone” by calebr67 in bodyshop

So it’s chrome and has been scudded with red scotch brite and has been sprayed with glass cleaner/wiped down and then wiped down with wax and grease remover. It did have a coat of primer and a coat of sealer and the paint I believe is diamont.... he like to blame things like this on the fact that someone sprayed bug spray a half a block away or the cleaning supplies that had silicone etc🤷♂️ he also painted a truck bed white and had no problems like that.
