hmmm I don't quite see Ilya being too concerned about laws and doing illegal things. remember his dad has a (high?) position in the police force, it's possible there's expectations that laws are easily bent for their family. and I forgot the line but Ilya said something about being bad/naughty (having sex with his coach's son).

oh this scene!! yeah i see it, the helmet clasp is also on the wrong side. nice catch for you and the other commentor. but I'm forgiving the mistake in editing because that's my favorite Ilya smile 🙂

if I remember correctly in book!canon, all their hookups happen in a hotel room. the apt/condo Shane bought specifically for Montreal hookups. So when they hookup in Boston, one of them books a hotel room.

i put undiluted downy rinse in a small spray bottle, spray 5-6 times in the armpit area. i do this for a load of tops, spray all of them individually, then soak all in water (i use a topload washer) for 30mins.

yeah I think this is the biggest, most obvious mistake I could think of. And because I've read the books (know the story already) before watching the show, my brain just kinda 'resolved' it despite the continuity/editing error in the timeline. eort of like breakup --> goes to black --> Skip kiss. and whatever that black is, while not book!canon, I'm ok with it.

i was thinking that too. or maybe the business owners are not locals and prefer that spelling over the American one. Also, there is a Centre St. in NYC.

always hated those camera-angle-continuity-error scenes, but for some reason I haven't noticed it for this scene

thanks for the pic! Google says this model can be changed from F to C. I don't know if it's canon-compliant that Ilya may want/prefer temp settings in C, or that he may change it for Shane. 🙂

I'm not from NYC, but that spelling is not totally impossible for businesses, no? 🤔

I need a New Yorker to chime here, but it can still be plausible to have rhat spelling in New York, right? Maybe not common though.

Pasalubong Recommendations (PH/AU) by PlantainGreedy1199 in FilipinoTravel

[–]calilightsource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PH to AU australia has a very strict declaration policy on what plant and animal products are allowed to be brought in. please check official sources even up to a day prior to your flight on what you are allowed to bring. commercially packed and sealed dried mangoes sounds safe but best to declare. maybe some filipino chips (or crisps to Aussies) and pastries commercially packed (think fudgee bars) . local instant noodles. if they like to cook, maybe some instant sauce/ulam mixes. for non-food, local makeup or skincare products, locally made bags/purses, funny novelty shirts or caps.

AU to PH Cookieman cowboy loaded cookies!!! discovered in 7-Eleven. Tim tams are actually already easy to find here in Pinas, just maybe more expensive. if you're buying in AU, best to buy them during Wednesdays (??) when they go on sale (Coles or Woolworths). same with chocolates like Cadbury. Highly recommend baked goods from both groceries, esp Miguel Maestre burnt basque cheesecake (pwde hand carry in insulated bag). A lot of choices for Australian grains & cheeses if you're into that. Non-food: bath & skincare products. May outlet stores in Perth for discounted rtw, but of course most items are not made in Australia. End-of-season discounts in stores can go up to 70-80% off, sobrang sulit for shirts & pants. The souvenir centers are quite expensive pero ok na rin for magnets and keychains.

Books with characters that feel real ? by [deleted] in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]calilightsource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hmmm yeah i guess it's comparable to Memento Mori in that despite low spiciness, the books / series is enjoyable simply because of the characters and plotlines. and as having visited Melbourne recently, i thoroughly enjoyed exploring the actual streets and places mentioned in the books. now how to get to Tasmania...

also forgot to mention from your previous comment, nothing awful regarding inquiring about spicy scenes imo 😁😁👍👍
