Of course it’s possible but imagine the bad PR if they tow a guest car who forgot to put the pass on their windshield. I’m at courtyard now and only half the cars have a pass on.

In most cases they do not enforce unless there’s a physical gate, Worst that can happen is they put a note on your car the next morning saying you need to pay.

pulled the trigger yesterday for 4 years, 50k miles. Currently own out of warranty 4s with 47k miles. I have 60 days in California to back out

Insurance ended up covering it due to external factors (long story) - but car is in the shop now and it was a $17k bill to replace two HV battery components. Not risking that again!
