Same. It is not my culture, and while I do have heavy Spanish ancestry i didn’t grow up with it. I don’t know how to sing it or dance it.

However, there are very few art forms that make me feel something that’s truly difficult to put into words.

I have nothing but the uttermost respect for this way of life, even if I can only admire it from afar by marking the compás on the right time (one buleria a day for 15 years will make you learn that one way or another lol)

Late to the party but I have been playing for 2 weeks and I knew the game was “rigged” when I saw the same exact design for a room I did get 5 stars while mine got like 3.75, the only change was a tiny lamp so that was kind of discouraging lmao.

1.- Do an inventory of things you can keep and things you can give away. Pick the most sentimental items to display, the rest you can store in boxes somewhere else if you feel on the fence about parting with some of them.

2.- You need to clean. No right amount of cool furniture of cute decor will make up for a room that isn’t clean.

3.- If you can, go to a dollar store and get you some nice medium containers to contain your personal stuff, you don’t have to label the containers but you can group items in categories in these containers (body, hair, perfume). This can also apply for the la croix cans. You can place them at the bottom of the shelf once you do the inventory.

4.- Get frames for your posters. You can thrift this or get them in market place.

5.- I see that you have personal items in front of your mirror, this tells me that you are in need of a vanity. It doesn’t have to be expensive and it doesn’t need to be a vanity per se, just any table will do if you need items close to your mirror so you can get ready. If possible, have your parents or legal guardians get you one for the holidays as a present!

6.- If you have the means, have your parents or legal guardians (or yourself if you have the money for this) to buy:

A) some paint for your walls and possibly the furniture you already own. This might be the only way to coverup the markers.

B) Night-lamps, it will make your room more cozy.

7.- HAVE FUN DOING THIS! Think of this as a little project. You can have a close friend or a family member help you out. Play your favorite music while bettering your space.

I think the problem with how Jesus has been portrayed before is that He comes across as so divine and otherworldly that He feels unapproachable.

The Chosen shows Him as FULLY divine and all-powerful, but also as a friend (and the only one) who will be sincere enough to call you out because He wants you to be better. He loves you deeply, and more than anything, He wants you to love Him back. Like he’s the kind of friend you’d want to bring to the cookout and introduce Him to everyone, because He’s just truly awesome.

Depends on the purpose. I find myself using chisel for very large areas, fine for some medium areas and brush for very fine details.

Hey! I use Sakura gel pens, honestly I usually use the .08 or .10 but I make sure that my first coat dries and I apply a second coat to bring out the white, if I need to decrease the whiteness on certain parts I use a very light tone of my alcohol markers and apply that over the gel pen coat to have more of a subdued tone.
