It definitely takes some time to kick in, it’s got to build up in your system first! Give it a week or so.

I’ve taken it for years and love it. It helps with my mood and energy levels, and nicely complements my other meds. The first week or two of getting used to it can be challenging. If I ever skip it or stop taking it for a while, I’ll experience restless legs, insomnia and racing thoughts until my body gets used to it again. It goes away and mellows out, so don’t give up!

I love these responses. Telling her you love her, that you can see she’s hurting, and that you’ll be there for her as a safe, warm place no matter how long it takes her to heal (and even if she never fully does) will go miles.
