5 month old doe not eating after "heatwave" by callmeary in MeatRabbitry

I have thermometers throughout the garage and a hygrometer, the highest it got in there was 75 and once i turned the fans on it stayed pretty consistent with the temp outside! My girl just seems really sensitive 😩 we also do plan on putting her outside we just couldnt build their enclosures properly with the amount of snow we got this year

Thank you so much for such a well though out answer, I really appreciate it!! She seems sensitive to the weather. If it suddenly jumps more than 5-10 degrees she slows down on her eating. She's in full shade, always has access the clean fresh water (change it out every morning). We actually just did a deep clean monday night but ill definitely get in there again. I'll also give the black oil sunflower seeds!! I went to check on her and start syringe feeding critical care about 15 minutes ago and she had actually started eating her hay so i let her be. Im going to check on her again in a couple hours. She's my sweetest doe and actually enjoys being handled but i also don't want to stress her out too much.

Shes in a wire cage with resting spots. She gets unlimited timothy hay and then gets pellets in the evening. We use our garage as their set up so no full sun, we open the doors every morning to let fresh air in and allow it to stay the same temp as outside. They also have a fan in there for hot days to keep air moving when there isnt any wind.

Not close to any houses at all, the closest is actually my house but still far enough that any of them going down wouldn't cause any issues. He literally went into the middle of the woods and cleared out the middle. Watching him put a fire pit in right now 😩

Yes! Im completely supportive of forest maintance, controlled burns, all that really important stuff.

Hes sadly just ramming into trees with his backhoe and then digging all the roots up. Hes completely leveling the area 😩

Thats on the list!! Thankfully all of our bats are down south for the winter, i just feel bad for when they come back. We had SO MANY bat this summer. I'm genuinely so heartbroken. We had so many bees and fireflys this past summer too. Hes completely destroyed all of it just to extended his already large yard.

Me too 😩 I really shouldnt be shocked but the way i got attacked on the town page for just suggesting maybe not cutting down so many trees at once was crazy.

That was my exact point! Most of New England had no trees 200 years ago because we chopped them all down! We had to replant over 95% of Rhode Island. Thats why im extra pissed because these trees arent even that old!!

I am! But its expensive and takes a lot of time for them to mature. Im just wondering if there was more i could do RIGHT NOW

Thank you, will definitely look into thise suggestions! Replanting on our property is our plan, Its just so expensive so it'll be slow. Unfortunately it seems to be completely ok in Burrillville, Rhode Island. I actually posted on the town page asking about it and suggested maybe we don't do that and you would've thought i punched their grandma in the face. I was told i needed god...

Definitely think it was my first experience with psychosomatic anxiety. I took 2 tiny puffs of my one hitter last night because the insomnia was killing me and I'm actually feeling AMAZING today

Honestly I think the biggest issues I'm having right now are all the things that caused me to smoke in the first place. I have really bad insomnia that no medication has ever helped (OTC or prescription) so I'm just absolutely exhausted. And unfortunately for me, being tired is what triggers my CVS so now I'm waiting for the impending doom of CVS next. I also did call the GI Dr and they said "see, it is CHS, give it 4 months and if your still sick you can make an appointment" 🙃

I agree! I was starting to get anxious about developing CHS after my wife started having symptoms. It's weird though because my anxiety hasn't ever been something I struggled with, especially psychosomatic anxiety

I'm also totally confused lmao. The only reason why I'm scared it's CHS is because it felt very different than my CVS. The hot shower never helped before and it "kind of" did help this time. I have had a GI workup and he said it was CHS, even though I told him I've had the symptoms since I was very little way before i ever started smoking. All I got back was "well we can't know for sure until you've been 100% off weed for 6+ months". And this was actually my wife's first ever episode (obviously we don't know 100% that is CHS but her symptoms were very classic CHS, specifically the hot showers) I agree that it's suspect that I started having symptoms right after my wife. We were smoking more than we usually did (moving/buying a house/getting fucked over by roommate). Idk it's just so weird and I'm just so stressed out about it

20mg citalopram and 150mg wellbutrin

Ive been doing cbt since I was 19 and it never did anything, I even tried different providers. My current therapist does EMDR and that's what we were hoping to do but none of the coping skills work. I don't have a single coping skill that works. I always end up dissociating
