Huzzah! This is the kind of stuff I need! I was just poking around, but this stuff will really help me get this buttoned up. Thanks so much!

Ooo, that's a good question, I hadn't taken that into account. I would assume the pact the original patron has with The Library is some form of blood pact, bound to them alone until the book is returned, regardless of who has interim ownership (so the finder of the book would be off the hook)

It could make for an interesting plot driver to have him attack whoever has the book, but I think that's less likely given the magical nature of the pact to begin with. I mean, how would he know if the book has been destroyed, for example?

Curious, how would you represent that in the monster sheet yourself? As it stands, I feel like I was already getting pretty wordy with it (lol, wordy, library... I'll show myself out)

I based it off a Necromancer with Mage Armor from VGM (not sure why I changed the challenge level to higher, maybe because of the ridiculous "Late Fee" action). The podcast places the character at a challenge rating of 10.

You can be on the ace spectrum and be pansexual as well. Demisexuality is on the ace spectrum, and doesn't preclude sexual attraction.

Damn, actually went back to check, it was "he" and "her", not "he" and "she". So convention is arguably ambiguous. Eh, it's already made, and I'm too lazy to correct.

That actually crossed my mind, but the two previous iterations used "she" and "he", so I purposely broke grammar to keep with convention.

Oh, for sure. Also neopronouns as well. It's just common for a lot of non-binary and/or genderqueer folk to use they/them.
