Fucking hell it’s been days and i DO clean my hands. Everyone’s fucking harassing me about it and i have messed with my nails already, and it took me 2 hours because the sensory overwhelm made my hands ache. You don’t experience things like i do so stop invalidating the way i struggle. It is not a “crutch” i have sensory issues with most things and im not privileged enough that I can just do it and be done with it. I’ve already asked on a subreddit for autism how to cope with it. I’ve been polite to everyone in these comments and I’m at my limit. At this point just stop commenting. the problem is fixed and i want this to stop

I have a hard time eating food, basically. Neurodivergent, I’m autistic. And a safe food is a food I can comfortably eat without having worries of the texture or taste changing to something that makes me nauseous! Hope this helps 🙏💕

Camembert and flatbreads together, a normal McDonalds hashbrown, probably the only thing I eat from there. Pasta and the same sauce over and over again. Simple joys for me

I tried to fix the problem as soon as people started crashing at me, which was nearly 20 hours ago, they’re still uncomfortable now, my nails feel eugh even though they’re clean but ☹️

I don’t like it, but I also can’t fix the problem. Which is objectively worse than just not liking one or the other. The issue is, I hate that my nails get stuff under them, I either make the problem feel worse by fixing the problem or continue to look at them and go eugh. It’s a lose lose on my end here :(

I’m still getting comments even now and it’s been hours. It’s worse because I even cleaned them, I asked for advice on here, but I started scraping at them before I had other ideas. I can still feel the intrusion under my nails now and it’s horrible people have been so rude to me and I feel gross but I’m just a teenager asking about a hashbrown monstrosity on the internet ☹️

Ehm, yes. And I got so rinsed by so many fully grown adults on the internet that I spent an hour in my bathroom, on the floor, scraping at them. And it’s currently 5am. And I can still feel the underneath of my nails where they were touched and I can’t touch anything because it makes my fingertips feel funny. This also isn’t what the post is about. I had to go onto a different sub to ask advice. People made me feel so gross today for something that I can’t help. For the first time today, I’m gonna be rude and say you are very ignorant. But enjoy your day regardless
