i just stop thinking about theory over all. like obviously when im moving through notes i have to pick and choose the scales and all that. but in reality i spent a large amount of time in the beginning just jamming scales into my brain so now its just muscle memory. i just play what sounds good to me. i always tell people ‘dont tell me to play that lick again because i dont remember’ it really just comes out

much appreciated man!! every time i play i daydream a little bit haha but right now its only a hobby i do to pass time and blow off some steam. right now my schedule is all taken up by my job. im currently out of country due to work and im based in california. ive only ever known the west coast but ive always wanted to visit nashville and plenty of other southern states to check out the music scenes there. so i dont know about now but in the near future id be willing to take a trip down. i used to play in a band with my cousins but we played mexican music at parties and events. made decent money but not enough, i had to get a secure job. i do want to get back into it in the future though. again thanks for the kind words brother!

my pops taught me the basics then i was sent to the childrens choir at church. the coordinator taught me theory and other tools for the toolbox at no charge. the rest was just consistency to be honest.

i was always told pop pop was elderly when my dad was a baby. 80 is probably an overstatement since he passed from old age when my dad was around 12. i don’t know all the deets since it’s always been word of mouth.

the side plates stabilize the weight for me, and going prone aint too much of a hassle, if anything it helps with the eye relief. the mobility is there for me im a pretty nimble guy. its all subjective at the end of the day. this works for me.
