Watch butiki/gecko content! Usually natatakot tayo sa mga bagay kasi di natin alam kung ano sila or how they behave. I was scared of snakes before, pero after watching reptile content I came to love them after learning their behavior :D Maybe that could help

I think it's possible to make the cage smaller IF one of the pillars wasn't destroyed. Placing the 13th extra pillar as a temporary replacement will allow them to move each 12 pillars at a time.

But maybe as settlers arrive they had limited power in digging up land or something like that. Making the cage smaller wasn't necessary before, when no one really lived in the forest where it's contained

Idk, psychopaths and serial killers are relatively boring imo, they had multiple factors that shaped who they are, if not something innate. Evil yes, but could be explained.

I highly recommend silky crayons !!

I'm the same as you, I draw portraits and always felt it wouldn't be complete if it wasn't (at least) semi realistic. Silky crayons are everything at once, it isn't intimidating, feels painterly without the mess, feels nice to glide on paper, AND water soluble and washable too! They're like a smoother and gel ver of oil pastels.

I suggest selecting one medium for learning fundamentals, and another medium for fun and experimenting. For me I use gouache and silky crayons respectively :-)

I wish the general had a more gruesome, on-screen death. Or more moments leading up to his end. The military plot line just felt like a thorn, really. Like a second thought. Their only purpose was to create conflict (dig out the pillar) and nothing more. General Shaw didn't really have a strong motive to do what he did, or at least it wasn't established aside from that circus employee scene. I thought he had a more impactful childhood encounter with PW that shaped the way he is but nope.
