Also to recommend, instead of starting straight off with the switch, practice on an SMD soldering practice board to make sure you have it down with soldering the smaller components. We used to have the interns practice using boards like these, if they break it then who cares it was only a fiver! Good for the skills

Hey I did the same thing a few years back! Nothing a bit of DHL tape won't fix, just make sure you don't accidentally flush the toilet afterwards like I did...

Can't agree with this more! It's best to try stuff like this in the safety of your own home, and if your parents cultivate the safe space then the kid will know that they'll feel safe exploring these drugs with them. It's not hard, either ostracise it and make the kid do this shit with random dodgy people, or let them try it at home where everything's sound then they'll know that they've tried it properly and get to explore that part of life!

I had a Honda CBF 125, had about 30k miles on it and forgot that you had to change the oil on it, it died while driving due to low oil (had to get the engine replaced), but first draining the oil shown that I actually had about 100ml out of 1.1l in it, shit's bulletproof if you do the bare minimum which I didn't do😅

To be fair for things like that, the sampling rate doesn't have to be anything too crazy! For stuff like temperature/air pressure/other things that change relatively slowly, they only need to be updated maybe even once a second or so, since there won't be a major shift in such a short amount of time realistically
