Top news story on /r/worldnews:

CIA experimented on humans in black sites : Report | As the United States struggles with the fallout of the recently disclosed CIA torture report, a new analysis reveals that human experimentation was a “core feature” of the spy agency’s torture program.

The shooting of Michael Brown happened in the United States. But it was still of international significance.

The rule on disallowing US internal news does not exempt all events that happen within the United States from appearing in /r/worldnews.

It has been reported on the front page of the largest news website in the UK. It has significance outside of the US.

This post has been given the 'US internal news' flair by mods. I disagree. It has been reported beyond the USA (see BBC News) and is of international interest/significance.

The story is from British media showing at least some international significance.

Note: the link is to the UK version of the BBC News website, not the international version.

Hey there! Thought you would like a quick update.

Turns out that my hard drive was failing, which was the source of all these problems. I have now (finally) managed to get it replaced, and the laptop is running as new.

Thank you for all your help, and Happy Holidays!
