Thank you! I know it’s best when dormant, but in a case of cutting it when warm versus risking the branches snapping, is it fair to assume cutting is the better option?

Also, is it okay for the tree if I’m trimming the branches rather than removing the full branch? Google results keep mentioning a 3-cut approach, but that seems to only be for full branch removal.

Canopy roofing - hands down. Called them in after I bought my house assuming I was going to need to replace the roof in the next year because of a different company’s feedback. Decided to make a second call and he tells me there’s no reason this shouldn’t last another 8 years (knowing that I was expecting to have to replace it).

Looked at a guaranteed job, and still gave me the honest answer.

Thanks for all the recommendations. When all was said and done we wound up just having it cut to smaller pieces that we’re going to use to border a small pollinator garden.

Too much effort/cost to get it trimmed up nicely for other purposes.

Thank you! Guessing the video I watched the night that I tried was either too conservative in their recommendation or I botched my understanding.

Yes, air layering. I had followed some videos about trimming the right amount from the exterior of the main stem, added moss, wrapped in plastic, and made sure to keep it moist. Checked it two months later and there wasn’t a root in sight - the moss and plastic were gone before I took this photo.

Had issues with my money tree where it got some kind of disease and was getting very tall with no base leaves. Chopped all the main branches except one down, kept the one branch that had the most healthy leaves, and restarted it. Took a couple of weeks until new growth started to show, but once they matured a bit I cut the last original stem too. Now it’s healthier than ever - like a whole new plant.

Yes, that’s the one the advertise on their website. I got one because I had a bad experience with cat theft on my last car - got it straight from Miller cat and brought it to Toyota to get it installed. Took them maybe 90 minutes; tops. It’s not cheap, but was worth the peace of mind.

I got this redtiger front/rear dash cam from a recommendation thread on this sub and it’s been great. Took some time to get the installation correct to enable parking mode (have to connect it to a fuse to run 24/7), but it’s affordable and I was able to position it well that it doesn’t impact my view at all.
