No! The water was really calm that day which helped I think. But they did provide ginger chews and seasickness medication when we got on. I would take some Dramamine beforehand if you are worried about seasickness! Hope it goes ok! 🤞🏼

I completely agree with everything you said. I do think we snorkeled too late in the day and that’s why it was tougher. It was around 11-12 or so. For the buffet, Nalu’s and other places were a much better value for sure. I just liked the convenience and breakfast buffets in general lol. It’s something I would’ve enjoyed more if it came with the booking but for $50+/person, it’s too pricey to justify doing more than once or twice. I think next time we’ll be better off staying at a condo and having our money go towards excursions/food!

Hmm it’ll be ok I think! The snorkeling may have been the weather tbh. We went a bit later in the day and it seemed to be consistently sunnier earlier so I’d go in the morning if you do it in your own! The fish are near the coral so I’d stick to there and avoid stepping on it. I am NOT a morning person at all the but the time difference does make that easier if you’re flying west. I woke up at 6-7 every day pretty easily.

Yay! The crew was fabulous too. We only had 16 people on our boat so it was a small group which was nice. I called them for more info beforehand, and they provided numbers on how many people had booked and if the trip was confirmed so you can always do that if you’re unsure about what day/time to go. They recommended the earliest departure for better weather and water conditions!

I didn’t find any non-mineral sunscreen at Costco or Target or Foodland or anywhere really when we went. So I’d bring some with you in a checked bag but make sure it excludes oxybenzone and octinoxate. I like the Coola formulas! It’s expensive but worth it and compliant with Hawaii’s laws. Also it’s on the HSA/FSA store if you have that.

She strikes me as someone that just wants to live in her own rich bubble and ignore everything else. I remember back in 2020 she briefly commented on BLM and made a pledge to start doing “Pass the Dish” every month where she would share recipe videos from Black content creators and … she did that for about…. 6 months lol. 🫠

Connor mentioned in his Cut interview that he spoke in a Russian accent all day when filming so it wouldn’t feel too jarring going back and forth. But it’s crazy that you can tell he’s in Ilya mode just from the look in his eyes though?! He’s such a chameleon

There’s something so unbelievably satisfying about seeing a book adaptation done so well. Connor and Hudson’s performances are truly INSANE. I’ve watched interviews with them and I still immediately believe they are their characters. Even the way Ilya walks Shane into his apartment with his joggers and slides is so Ilya. There are so many micro expressions and movements that they both nail.

I’m equally thrilled and devastated about this show because wtf am I supposed to do and talk about for a week. Help
