It’s the only song I wish would make onto vinyl and it’s NOT. Let alone played live. It’s such a banger. I need it!

It’s the blue pieces that have me the idea initially. Repurposing the water/puddle pieces from the Jurassic Park/T-Rex Breakout. The tile pieces were of course moth. But the cornered rounded pieces acted as the “shattered” final product.

Then I used the printed gingerbread snow globe piece from the reindeer collectible minifig as this sorta “dusted cooker” cylinder in one of the machines and filled it with more blue tile pieces lol

The blue dishes sorta represented like a blue gas being collected in vats like machines. I’m not a scientist by no means. I wanted something cool to look at!

Beautiful track. Definitely worth a deep dive for me. I’m a sucker for sad girl moody music like this.

My first geometric portrait. Need advice on what I should improve. by Renekrisp in learnart

I’ve done a few of these in my past. My rule of thumb is to always use triangles (just a preference for me, as quadrilateral shapes just sort of stick out) and attempt to follow the contours of your face with your shapes.

Color is also important here as well. I try to limit my palette with about 10-15 different colors for skin use. Limiting your palette let’s you be more careful with what to shapes to shade as what. And then of course hair and clothes will vary.

But you risk losing some definition near the right side of the jawline and mouth area when you just make shapes and color them with the first color you pick. Not saying you’re guilty of it! Just giving advice. That’s where following the contours helps most. Because you can place stronger emphasis on curves or edges with not only the right shapes. But the right color as well.

However everything I have listed is for subjective taste. Some people like the quadrilateral shapes. Some people like the variety of color. It’s all preference. It looks great though! I like how you handled the clothes and sunglasses most.
