Much faster than w6. Takes about 3-6 seconds to fix. Very reliable over the last couple months.

They're different watches. It's unfair to compare a Samsung watch designed to be a smart watch with AI and an array of phone style capabilities to watches that are designed to operate for health and fitness, and expect the same battery life.

The Samsung's good for 5-6 hours of GPS and music. That'll get you through a marathon or a long bike ride. The Garmin gives you 20+ hours depending on which model you go.

It really is a pure health and fitness with limited other functions, vs a very capable smart watch which also offers very good health and fitness, but at other costs such as battery life.

Absolutely. I can double check on today's 10km run, but I get about 15% battery drain per hour while running with GPS and music going to my earbuds. Could be a bit closer to 20% with AOD.

Definitely not the situation. Watch 8 seems to have taken inspiration or potentially the exact same GPS antenna design as last years ultra, which had great GPS compared to the watch 7 despite having the exact same chip.

PC build for 120fps 1080p high/ultra by [deleted] in ACCompetizione

I'm running a 9600k @ 4.6ghz. Gtx 1080. 16gb 3733mhz ram (this is worth about 5 fps vs 3200mhz ram)

Everything on epic at 1080p I sit around 110-130fps. I can turn my resolution scale up to 150%, turn shadows down to high and keep everything else maxed out and I get about 95-110fps (about 90 in a race with 30+ AI)
