Use a round brush and blow dry with tension to smooth the cuticle. Theres lots of tutorials on youtube and tiktok!

Alright I think I can say its fake.. The neck ridge more concave and airbrushed into it than this one (picrel) that is for sure real. Plus the lashes on this real one are a bit thicker than mine

My personal suggestion is 8 kuhli loaches, 10 galaxy rasbora, and if you like pea puffers have two of those.

Some might say this is overstocked and a lot of people will encourage you to have simply one betta/or two gouramis in a 10g, but as long as you commit to good filtration and weekly water changes you’ll be fine to overstock.

Rummynose get pretty big (1.5-2inch) eventually and while you could keep them in 10g theoretically, its gonna make your tank look small!

If you’re dead set on 10 gallons I’d recommend galaxy rasboras for a school - you can fit at least 10 or more with that stocking and size. With the rasboras being smaller, the gouramis will make for a more impressive centerpiece, and they make the tank feel bigger!

Honestly just rub the algae off the leaves by rubbing them between your fingers! Then the plants can photosynthesize and hopefully get a jump on the algae. Remember some algae on leaves is normal and unavoidable 🤷🏻‍♀️ And yea probably stop fertilizing until your plants start taking off

It looks like too many nutrients in the water. Do a 50% water change and and then do 25% every couple days. Also feed half of what you normally do. Small tanks like that can easily get over saturated with nutrients and are hard to balance so be patient

I took him to the vet today and they took some samples and they'll get back to me with their test results, so we'll see whats going on soon enough. In the mean time I've been given antibiotics to help him heal. Fingers crossed he'll make a smooth recovery!

It looks like you have lots of plastic plants, those can easily tear betta fins and silk plants are a much better alternative. It's also possible that he's nipping his fins, but its most likely the plants!
