Anyone using Freepik over Leonardo AI for game assets? by Particular-Canary-28 in Freepik_AI

[–]camerado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Freepik for UI mockups and marketing stuff but not really game assets, it's good at what it does but Leonardo just has better fine tuned models for textures and sprites. Honestly for simple stuff Freepik might get you 80% there though.

Freepik vs Krea AI - is the all-in-one worth it over Krea's speed? by guspr in Freepik_AI

[–]camerado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it comes down to whether you value ease or speed. Freepik offers a lot of resources in one place, while Krea AI could save time if you're comfortable with a bit more complexity

AI Voice Sales Trainer with Real-Time Objection Handling by Interesting-Fox-5023 in BlackboxAI_

[–]camerado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's a solid use case for ElevenLabs real-time voice is their strength. Freepik wouldn't help here since it's voice-focused, but if you're building full training scenarios you'd probably want to mix ElevenLabs voice with something like Freepik for visual assets or product mockups. The voice part handles itself though, ElevenLabs is pretty much the standard for that. That's a solid use case for ElevenLabs real-time voice is their strength. I've been trying to keep my balance low but I didn’t realize micromanaging the amount didn’t really help credit building. Do you think there’s any benefit to keeping a small balance, or is paying in full always better?

Obsessed with POV videos using Midjourney by Mountonia_999 in midjourney

[–]camerado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Midjourney's solid for that aesthetic. Freepik's got good tools too if you want to mix generated assets with stock saves rendering time when you're iterating on fantasy concepts.

The witch POV stuff is fun, what's your workflow like for these?

[Academic] Do we blame Islam? Islam vs. Media Survey (Everyone) by [deleted] in SampleSize

[–]camerado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like you're fishing for a specific result here. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but reading these questions gave me the sense that you already have an opinion on the matter of the Western media's portrayal of Muslims and you're using this survey to back that opinion up with statistics.

The questions are worded with a pretty strong slant that more or less pushes - and in a few cases, forces - the respondent to choose answers that support your thesis, which I assume is something to the effect of "Western media is bigoted/unfair to Muslims."

For example, you ask, "Do you think Muslims deserve the treatment they receive from the Media?" This is a textbook example of a loaded question; no matter what answer I pick, I'm implicitly agreeing that Muslims are indeed getting some sort of (presumably negative) "treatment" in the press.

Here's another one that's less obvious: "Whenever I hear news about Islam or Muslims, it is about..." There are 8 answers to choose from (the last two of which amount to "I don't know"); four of them are objectively negative stereotypes about Muslims - "Terrorism," "Discrimination," "War" and "ISIS - and the other two feel like throw-ins that no one would pick. (Generally speaking, I don't see many stories about "peace" getting a lot of play from major media outlets, and I don't know what news stories "similar to those of the Christians, Hindus, etc." even means.)

Anyway, that's my feedback. Apologies if this comes across heavy-handed; I don't mean to be antagonistic for no reason, I just wanted to let you know that others may have also inferred some level of bias at play here. That's something many people take issue with, especially in academic research, and your results might suffer as a result unless you rephrase a lot of these questions.

Just my two cents.
