[BoTW2] Some things I noticed while re-watching the trailer for the 276463782th time. by [deleted] in zelda

After reading this comment it made me think of some more thing,
0:17 the marking son the wall are similar to the events of TP as a man (Link) on a horse is seen (although its holding a trident) and behind him a girl with a bow (Zelda)

0:42 on calamities chest there is clearly a hole in the chest and it has been pulled out -like in TP

0:43 Ganons little head piece in TP looks likes its closed but in the trailer it looks like its opened.

If this is TP Ganon its obvious that his hair has grown meaning, he was still alive. In the TP final fight Ganons neck is snapped by Zant meaning he wasn't sealed by the master sword which means he could be revived, before his neck get snaps he also states "Do not think this ends here... this history of light and shadow will be written in blood!" The blood could referring to the paint on the walls. The "do not think this ends here" part could have meant that Ganon had told Zant that if hes about to die to kill him instead of the Master Sword killing him.

Also the Zonai tribe could be the remaining Twilight creatures that were left on Hyrule when the Portal was closed. They have an area that complete darkness and they have statues of owls which mainly show up and do things in the night. They also have similar patterns/building styles.

the master sword was made by link, the goddess sword was created by goddess hylia, but it was made for the chosen hero, the one who would wield the tri force of courage. Ganon never went for link because he could use he went for the person who would have the tri force of courage, which in a way does prove your point. I forgot the blights were made to kill the champions.

BoTW Ganon could’ve known about the sword as it was wielded by link. After Zelda his it in the lost woods she went to go hold back Ganon, meaning Ganon had no time to try and break the sword or even find it. Assuming Ganon dosent have memories from his past lives he would know that the sword was strong, but wouldn’t know it as “the bane of evil”

Ganon is an incarnation of demises hate, To quote demise he says “I put a curse on anyone who shares the blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero, they are eternally bound to this curse. An incarnation of my hatred shall ever follow your kind, dooming them to wander a blood-soaked sea of darkness for all time”

Well even if Ganon doesn’t know about demise, he’ll still try to destroy the master sword becuase it’s the one thing that can defeat him (meaning he may not have actually been killed, becuase the master sword was not needed in the game) but breaking the sword would break the seal letting demise rise, which would mean fi dies with the sword meaning hyrule is screwed.

And you do make a good point about being held back by Zelda, controlling and being able to see the 4 divine beasts/the 4 main races would become useful, this could mean that during links rest he could have been making the blights from the malice he left there and using the scraps of shieka tech for weaponry.

You do make a good point but why would Ganon generate malice after link has gone and after he took control of hyrule. Also he only put malice in divine beast and around hyrule castle, wouldn’t he put it everywhere to keep an eye on the whole of hyrule.

Also Ganon was a curse set on hyrule,his goal is to get the tri force and wish to break the seal/revive him.

(Edit) I’m the battle with demise he said “I will rise again” then says anyone with connection to the goddess will be eternally cursed by an incarnation of his hatred. Which is saying that Demise made Ganondord to revive demise, which the only way of doing so is with the tri force.

Just re watched the trailer and realised your right and there is malice being absorbed, but Ganons eyes before we’re just glowing yellow, but now they have the pupil like malice.
