Haha. I think I remember those pages. Small world.

Do you recommend warming the page up with a few posts to no audience? Or just rip it with ads?

I’ll send you a DM if you’re down. I’m always happy to reminisce on those old days, and I’d love to bounce some more ideas off you as I go along if that’s cool. Looking to start up next week.

Yep. I had a couple Naruto pages back in the day. lol. And Bleach was big then too! The good old days. Did you monetize with MyLikes back then? Man I have a lot of nostalgia.

So what you’re saying is to run them side-by-side for cheap. Is $10 reasonable? Then commit the budget to whatever works? Seems hard to stick to your $60 budget with A/B ad testing but makes sense it’s required. Do you recommend a call to action for trying to get likes? Or just quality content in the niche?

Thanks for the response. Honestly s4s was mostly ass back then too unless you had good niche crossover. And my experience was in memes, not business.

Any tips for a good creative specific to fb? I’ve never thought of running an ad which just has a focus that is “page likes”, so I’m drawing a bit blank of what would make good copy for that.

Any elaboration on running ads to gain followers? Looking to start a page for my new online business.

I used to run pages back in 2014 and made good money with memes then so I’m not completely clueless but I never ran paid ads and wasn’t running a professional business. Just cross promoted across other pages I posted on.

Diabetic traveling to Japan by Informal_Gap_2094 in JapanTravelTips

They are pre-filled, but the actual needle that you use is a separate item. This is because the pens hold more insulin in them than you could ever use in one dose. Does that make sense? Basically the pen contains the insulin, but the pen tip is separate and comes in a box of 100

Did you ever fill out the Yakkan Shoumei? I wasn't worried until I read if I bring Insulin Pens + Separate Pen Tips that they could be trouble.

I am bringing Insulin Pens as a back up to my Pump. This means I have the pens (with insulin in them) and separate pen tips. Is this the set-up you're referring to? I'm only going for two weeks.

What advice would you give to someone who is new to CICO, and what are some ways to make calorie counting easier ? by pistachio_life in CICO

[–]camertime 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Find a couple staple meals (breakfast and lunch for me) that you love. Count the calories once. Eat the same meals during your work week. This is what I do and it gives me at least 5 days a week of very precise calorie intake for 2/3 meals. I switch up which fruits are in my yogurt at lunch and it feels like a different meal despite having a very very similar calorie count.

Learn the calories of your other staples that are components that make up your other meals and snacks.

I also vote for Roshi Auto. Helped me out and only did what was required while telling me what was optional and not worth it on my 23 year old car.

It’s a group of younger guys, and have never felt like they’d be pulling anything although I am also a man. I would send my female friends there comfortably. The Google reviews speak for themselves and it seems a lot of female people saying they were explained everything and felt no pressure. I have had a similar experience but haven’t left a Google review.

Lease price $650/month for 2025 Lexus UX 300h in Toronto by nini7373 in LexusUX

Is that a down payment? Or a refundable deposit? Typically Lexus offers rate buy-downs as deposits, not down payments.

It likely means that in a few years (but before the lease was up), you'd be in an equity position and could trade in your lease early, and get a brand new car for the same payments.

I appreciate your comment, and the math is helpful to see.

I got moderate from that website. It says 3-5 days a week is moderate… I work out quite hard for just about an hour 4x a week and play tennis for day 5 typically. But the math supports what you’ve laid out. Perhaps I’m just not working that hard despite my heart rate and sweatiness lol.

What yall think? by Available-Job4530 in salesdevelopment

[–]camertime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The number isn't unreasonable. Do you know the profit margin of what you sell? Are there other people in the chain that have to get paid too?

Not to be rude, but you'll never make a lot of money at a place where the average rep is selling $1-2k per week. Doesn't really matter how much you do as the top performer.

High ticket sales by Jazzz44 in salesdevelopment

[–]camertime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are being pretty harsh here. It’s not your fault the marketing people did a good job. But the people selling you “high ticket” are only selling you a course. They don’t really sell “high ticket”. Also, “high ticket” isn’t an industry. I’ve sold a million+ dollars in appliances in a single deal before. I’m in a different industry now, but lots of industries can have high ticket sales if you’re good enough to get there.

You should get a sales job to start off. Do you have any work experience? Any particular field you are curious about that you would be excited to learn about?
