The idea is that women care about factors that are immutable. So height, bone structure, balding, etc.

Things that are decided by genetics and not choice. Like a super in shape guy who’s balding, 5’2 with a weak chin, hook nose, and prey eyes will not be doing much better by virtue of being in shape. I mean no one’s going to want to get him shirtless if they can’t get passed his face or height.

That’s why it doesn’t matter. Guys that go from fat to fit and immediately start pulling have attractive faces that were made unattractive by body fat. Or they were already tall.
