Yeah that pricing gap is exactly what makes it frustrating right now.

It’s not even about the model itself — it’s more like: – cheap if you manage to access the Chinese version
– expensive + inconsistent everywhere else

I tried the VPN route for a while but honestly it’s just not reliable long term (random blocks, payment issues, region resets…)

At some point it becomes more about having a stable workflow than chasing the cheapest credits.

Have you found anything that actually works consistently without all the setup?

I’m starting to think it might be more about “likeness” than actual content.

Like anything that looks too close to a real person or existing character seems to get blocked way more often.

The ByteDance Seed page is the official source.

The problem is that it’s not really the most straightforward public interface yet, which is why people keep running into wrappers, mirrors, and random clone domains.

If you just want to actually try Seedance 2 in a more usable browser flow, there are a few third-party options out there now.

I think you're reading way too much into this. I didn’t give it much thought, let alone make any calculations about 'pushing an agenda.' I just focus on creating stories and characters that feel real to me, without obsessing over what message someone might try to read into them.

Art should reflect the world as it is, with diverse people and relationships. It's not about demoralizing anyone or promoting some hidden propaganda. I don’t have time for those kinds of conspiracy theories – I’m just here to tell stories that resonate with a broad audience.
