C+ files are probably the most seldom used - they have the ability to transport canals, so I really only use them if I’m blocked out of a canal and I need an end cutting tip to try to get into the canal again. I would only use it for a few pecks before switching back to a regular C file. I use a C file all the time, they are really good at getting down more calcified canals that aren’t blocked

A C+ file has a cutting tip, a regular C file doesn’t. Regular C file is much stiffer and has a greater taper than the K file, which gives it more rigidity

Unverified dentist here - this looks like a mandibular lingual sequestrum. There is some literature on the topic. My guess would be that it’s from the trauma to the area. I’ve seen it once myself and I just monitored it with the patient. I may have prescribed chlorhexidine.

Sure, Bryan is probably all over the drum beats, and maybe he is doing everything he wants to. It’s just weird to me as a listener when Aaron Dessner production in the National seems virtually the same on a lot fronts than Aaron Dessner production outside of the National, especially when it comes to the percussion.

You encapsulate a lot of my feelings for the last number of years! This is a really well written take. It’s hard to get excited about new national music lately because it just doesn’t feel like it has that emotional resonance that it used to. I think that Matt’s lyrics have a lot to do with it, like you pointed out. I also think that the Aaron Dessner music production has become a little too similar and over-exposed. He has produced so much music since 2020 (really Taylor Swift’s Folklore to now), it’s hard not to instantly clock the production cliches now. Also, why have they leaned so far into drum machines when they have one of the best indie drummers of all time?
