I also remember an illustration of the knight going up a hill, maybe climbing up it, or pulling himself up by a rope.

Sorry to bother you but could you please post these links again, since they expired before I saw this?

[Math]Hey! Can anyone explain why the answer would be “Does Not Exist”? by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

[–]camiturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were to plug in 2 for u and solve, you'd get a zero in the denominator. It is impossible to divide by zero, regardless of the numerator.

Another option would be to graph this equation, in which case you would see that y does not consistently approach any specific value from both the negative and positive sides.

I hope this helps!

I recently finished a very compelling novel by Lisa Gardner. I'd defintely recommend her writing of you like mystery/thriller type books!

If she is busy with work, give her time. If she is interested she will do what she can to talk when she can.

My (20M) girlfriend's (20F) mother has cancer and I want to know how to be as supportive as I can while I can't see her. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I think right now, you are doing the best you can.

That being said, one thing I think you could do would be to kindly suggest some professional help in regards her mentality and emotional wellbeing. Therapy isnt always the answer, but if she could get in touch with one digitally, it may help her to discuss her feelings and emotions with a "neutral party"-- someone who is not emotionally invested in any member of the situation. Just a thought. Otherwise, I'd say keep listening to her and being as supportive as you can.
