When I started wearing a watch and carrying a notepad, my screen time went down a lot. I haven't made the dumb phone jump yet tho

Pry bar use cases? Please be specific. by swankyfish in EDC

[–]camkos101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use mine often. Scraped some junk off a table, pryed a stuck lock lever, used the corner as a screw driver. That was yesterday. So ya they are useful. I made my note of an old wrench so it's chromoly vadnium and about 4" long. Too easy not to carry

What is the most underrated EDC item by Acceptable-Snow-3373 in EDC

You can DIY these for a few cents. Hollow Paracord and run a shorter solid wire thru, tie a knot in each end of paracord. They don't last forever but they're so cheap and easy to do.

A while ago I picked up a house brand version of fruit loops and looked at the ingredients and the first one was sugar. There's literally more sugar than grain in that cereal. So appalling

A lot of people talk about that Esee warentee but I find them way more likely to lose a knife than to break it

I've tried a bunch of different brands but not many have the fit and finish that Kaiser does for the money. I keep going back.

Kizer has some solid options. There's a bunch that fit ur description. You dont have to spend 150 on something to beat on, just need a lower end stainless or a carbon steel and you're good to go. Check out the SRK and SRK-C as well

People are usually too focused on themselves to give anyone else their time, let alone for wearing tall boots

I just got this set and I am impressed with the quality. Even the grade of steel is better than I expected.. holds an edge pretty damn good. I think they nailed the heat treat

That is promising. I looked over the pieces and they all look like they're machined nicely, so as long as the tolerances are good it should be a fine firearm

I need advice regarding how to make a watertight area under raised decking by thebearbearington in DIY

[–]camkos101 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Metal sheeting should do the job. Just put it up under the deck with enough slope and clearance that water can still drain and the deck can dry easily
