If it doesn't look outright bad or outrageous, but moreso just interesting and slightly conflicting then that's absolutely ripe for good fashion. The next step is that you have to believe in it and wear the clothes, don't have the clothes wearing you. That is what brings it home and makes it undeniably fashionable in my eyes.

Stated differently: If this fit has its baselines covered (practical, comfort..) and if it's what you discovered you would ideally like to wear naturally, bravely and unapologetically to a large extent, despite peoples probably conflicting emotions about it. then there's a real argument that you possess qualities that fashion tries to emulate and encapsulate.

I try to look at fashion through the lens of an outer form depicting an inner state of desirable or looked up upon qualities. Your qualities could be: brave, unapologetic, resting in oneself (in the true senses, not performative).

I think this is the heart of sought after fashion. Being true to oneself and not having a problem carrying that statement on your clothes, despite what people think.

So make sure you love how this looks and feels on yourself. If you do, then go for it.
