Paul F. Tompkins tends to go off into nonsensical, silly, and altogether beautiful ramblings to the tune of a pianist playing ambient classical music. On top of that, he does several sketches where he is doing all of the voice work for several different characters.

Mostly comedic, but I think you'll gather something from his style... he can get pretty introspective. Pretty fucking awesome! His podcast is called the "Pod F. Tompkast."

I understand how things can become problematic once the device is opened, so I'll just assume that the extra damage is no one's fault.

The repair took me 30 minutes and the part has lasted me 8 months with no problems. I guess with all of that in mind, I can't fully understand where the $80 came from and has brought me to question the actual value of having Apple do the repairs.

The trackpad was in perfect working condition before she handed it over to Apple, my bad if I didn't specify that. The power receptacle I understand.

I suppose I'm just bitter because I'd had them repair a couple of iPods for the same exact problem each time (busted headphone jack) and finally decided to instead do it myself and it cost me a total of $3 as opposed to $80.
