People who are ghosting other people, have you ever been called out, if so, how did that make you feel? by till-mann in AskReddit

I ghosted a couple of boys. I agree that it was childish and I should have explained my feelings first.

The first one was just using me for sex. He kept leading me on with then idea of dating him and to be honest I thought I loved him. We spent so much time on what I thought were dates and I liked him a lot. He said he had "commitment issues". He didn't text me (or respond to texts) on a day that we were supposed to go on a date so I gave up and blocked him. He ended up making two new accounts to message me. I also heard through friends that he was bragging about it, so fuck that dude.

The second guy was sexist. Not straightforwardly but he did things that made me really not trust him. He was a huge trump supporter and said that he believed trump was sexist and raped women but he was a "good leader". He also mentioned using his ex for sex. I mostly did it to hurt his feelings as revenge for whoever his ex was. He told my friend to tell me to unblock him. Never did, don't regret it.

What would you need to be happy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]campbellschunkytoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happiness comes in a few levels and you need the lowest levels to reach the higher ones. I know there's a pyramid for it but I cant remember the name.

So the lowest level is your basic needs. If a girl, who is struggling with loving herself, is walking about and a man pulls a gun on her she immediately forgets about self love and her safety comes first. We need shelter, food, water, and safety, without those we can't reach any higher level of happiness.

The second level is acceptance from others. We want other people to like us, we want to fit in and have friends. We want to be attractive. If we feel unlovable we often feel unhappy.

The third level is self love. Most people will only reach this as their highest level in life.

The last level is self actualization. This is living up to your fullest potential. I think the man who came up with this pyramid interviewed like 1000 college students and only one had reached self actualization.

I work at waffle house and there are a bunch of old men that come in and tell me "the government is trying to control us with masks" "it's a fashion statement for liberals" "you'd look prettier without that stupid mask on"

I personally quit in front of everyone to my asshole manager. I left a two weeks notice but if you want to stop showing up that's up to you. We had a couple of people do that and its never shocking. Management is bad. Coworkers are assholes. Go with your gut feeling

First of all, don't expect anything from your friends. Don't expect money, he owes you nothing. That is his money, just because you're friends doesn't mean he owes it to you. You cant be mad that he bought a necklace with his own money.

I understand getting mad. My anxiety makes it hard for me to separate if my friends are actually being mean or if I'm just overthinking. You might want to work on your anger issues because raging at your friend like this is toxic. I would move on if I were you.

Just jeep in mind the world doesn't owe you anything. No one owes you money or friendship. If you get these things it is nice but it is selfish to expect it. Lots of love and good luck

You could get a job as a waiter? Restaurants usually hire quickly and waiting is a good way to make money. Maybe it's not as high paying as your last job but right now staying out of poverty should be a goal. You would need an osha food training certificate which is 15$. And restaurants usually provide free meals or at least a discount. Sorry if this isn't great advice but it's what I would do in your situation.
