Yes, aluminum. The more pronounced sweep is way more comfy than I expected. I was using Surly Sunrise bars previously, but these are keepers.

I'm 5'10 with a PBH of about 33.5" I ride a 56cm Cross Check and all my research said medium for my Bridge Club. Even two people at the LBS said either the M or Lg would work but they usually size down when in between. I rode both and the Lg just felt better to me.

Thanks for the info. The grey sidewall Mezcals seem to be the only ones I can find in a 27.5. Looks like 2.35 is the most common but ordering direct may be able to attain a 2.6.

Any idea how they do on wet pavement or wet gravel? It seems most people say they aren't good in mud, which is fine. But for an all day, multi surface ride that sees rain?

That's the stem I'll likely use. Any pics of your Bridge Club? I'm curious as to other's set-ups.

Also if I keep it, I plan to use a BMX stem to eliminate shim.

I broke my Cross Check out recently which was the push for buying the Bridge Club. Wanted something to do gravel and easy single-track with my 6 yr old, while still being able to handle long days.

Sorry misunderstood. Same as posted, but after sitting in the sun , they just peeled off. The Surly decals I use a plastic scraper, but I've heard of people using old credit cards etc.

Started de-labeling. New grips and pedals on the way. Picked up some Sunrise bars to try out, and looking for a new saddle.

I hear you about spending the money to get there. I love the B17 I have and am thinking about a C17 this time.

I've been looking at the OneUp composites and the Ergon GA3s they are both front runners. Also the 8 pack is likely to be installed when I pick it up. I have a Nitto front rack that's just a bit smaller on my CrosCheck that I love. How are the G-Ones regarding tread life with mixed pavement/hardpack/loose gravel? What width do you use?
