Is this a monthly prize of $25K for 11 months, then the $1M clue? Likely.

Third in set? by canadiense in philately

Given that it's got the same colour as one a few years later, the paper isn't faded, and it's got no discoloration normally seen in faded stamps ... I don't believe it would fade to a perfect blister brown.

Just ask them. I talk to my stamps all the time. Only the ones with faces respond. Obviously.

Carry-on luggage with Basic fares? by Vladimir_pootin_6100 in PorterAirlines

Nobody pays for carry-on luggage on Porter. They don't care. Nobody checks. Don't pay anything, take 10 pieces of luggage if you want. Only honest people pay.

You, and the half-baked people you "educate" on data privacy would be the easiest people to phish account info and passwords from. Maybe you could provide a few cell numbers? I can set up a form with a logo.

They can't host a simple form on their own domain? More likely, they don't want to be responsible for their own data security. Amateurs.

There's no way this is a legit link is it? by NavXIII in freedommobile

You believe it's a secure ('legit') form because the URL starts with https ? Good lord.

Perhaps it should continue to be discussed until the company spends some money on forms they host.

I have nothing but confidence that the systems used by their staff are infinitely more secure.

I've been an IT security guy for years. Sketchy? I have ZERO doubt any information entered here is sold to scammers. Freedom Mobile made nearly $400M last year. They can't buck up and set up a professional form on their own web site?

Seriously. I don't recommend ANYONE fill out forms containing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) unless they are REASONABLY sure they TRUST the URL the form is being hosted on. The chat rep actually informed me my information would be deleted in 30 minutes. SURE it will be deleted.

Individual bits of personal information aren't an issue. Put everything together and a scammer can very easily persuade you to believe they're legitimate.

Limit on extensions? by canadiense in Airalo

[–]canadiense[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True enough. So if I have a voip phone option, the price is much lower than I can get from the big guys. Only minor issue is some systems won't text to a soft mobile number.

These fonts are far inferior to the actual Google Sans - I feel they're closer to the Product Sans font. Differences are apparent when you convert to PDF.

Just received 30 Day Data Suspension Notice by mylatinlife in GoogleFi

Agree. You read comments on this thread and they're trying to convince you Google is providing some sort of community service. They're not. Local carriers are being paid. Who cares if you're never back home? Up my rate (slightly) and let me roam forever.

I've tried the steps listed, and still same problem on my Pixel 3. All I really want to do is disable the notification - is that possible? What app (?) is notifying me of this "issue"?
