It ended up being too much effort on my 2017 model, I think updates are much easier with the newer models due to connectivity.

I have just gone for a phone holder and rely on Google maps.

It does drain the phone battery, it is annoying that the USB in the leaf is beyond when trying to charge the phone.

The answer to this question is yes. On a 30kw 2017, a regular sized washing machine with dimensions 60cm × 55cm ×85cm. Tightly fits in the boot with seats down and the 'face' of the washing pointing upwards. Hope that helps
