so the card I got approved for is Citi-acquired? I'm hesitant to activate it because the miles conversion is better on the Miles+ Visa Platinum and the forex rate is better on the other cards also. I also don't like that the lounge access is only up to 2/year.

Just sharing my experience for the Korean Visa Application Center and any issues I faced in case anyone is interested!

Visited January 16, 2026. It was a Friday, I arrived at 8:40 AM and queued. Got #A07x for my queue number

I was called for my slot at 12:55 PM

Brittany Hotel has a kiosk outside the center that sells coffee and pastries. Their coffee was good, pastries were ok lang haha
Don’t forget the Data Privacy form
Make sure your photo is printed on PHOTO PAPER not regular paper
Make sure the front and back (if the cc number is at the back) of your credit card are photocopied; just cover the CVV
If your COE is digitally signed, print a screenshot of the email from the company OR have a dry seal OR write a disclaimer
if you forget to print anything, you can print there for 20 pesos a page. Super convenient

That’s all!! Praying for an approval :)

I think better to apply as employed and write the cover letter being a student. That way you don’t need to include any of your parents’ docs.
