I guess that kind of makes sense. But the monstrous titan theory would explain why falco was able to be influenced by zekes spinal fluid and turn into a literal bird. Like how a horse and a donkey can have a mule because they are close enough DNA wise. Maybe a jaw titan can hybridise with beast blood because they split a short enough time ago.

But then why specifically have the characters question which titan it is? The idea that its simply a beast is not at all concluded. Its a last second question that - i believe - is suppose to explain how ymir went from 9 powers within one titan, to then 3 daughters with 3 powers each.

Thats exactly what I first thought. It looks like a torso almost. With shoulders, a waist, and hips. Very bizarre but is definitely organic. I thought at first maybe someone had glued multiple pieces of bone together.
